Minutiae:

StarMax can take only EDO DIMMs.  It does not support interleaved memory.  The three DIMM sockets are NOT identical.  The first socket, which comes stock with a 16 MB DIMM installed, can only accept up to 32 MB DIMMs.  The other two sockets can accept up to 64 MB DIMMs.  The maximum memory is therefore 160 MB.

Each StarMax system comes with 16MB RAM, a 1.2GB IDE hard drive, 8x CD-ROM, 1 MB IDO DRAM for graphics, Motorola 28.8 data/fax modem, and a 256K Level-2 Cache.
